Electrocardiogram of 85 patients were examined. There were 24 men and 61 women. Age ranged from 5 to 66 years. These patients were divided into two subgroups, namely living (36 patients) and dead (49 patients) groups according to prognosis.

Twenty-two patients (25.9%) of total cases had one or more arrhythmias : in contrast to 5 patients (13.9%) in living group, 17 patients (34.7%) had arrhythmias in dead group. This difference was significant (p<0.05).
