Functional Phonocardiography Using Vasoactive Drugs

はじめに

　各種の心・血管反応薬を用いる負荷心音図法は，Wig—gers（1919）の実験的研究をもって嚆矢とする。しかしこの方法が，心音図を用いて臨床的に検討されたのはLevine　＆　Harvey（1949）にはじまり，ことに日常の心音図法に繁用されはじめたのは，この数年来のことにすぎない。

　負荷心音図法とは，これら薬剤のみならず，各種の負荷を生体に与えることにより，心音・心雑音を変化させ，その反応態度から，心機能の判定や，病態生理学的および解剖学的診断を試みる方法で，現在与えられた診断方式の拡大利用法である。

Functional phonocardiography using various vasoactive drugs has the practical importance in clinical cardiology. Precise diagnosis of various heart diseases, assessment of the se-verity and the predominancy of the lesion present, and detection of the clinically unre-cognized involvement, all are anticipated by this method. Of particular importance in this revolutionary method is the use of amyl ni-trite and methoxamine, on which the main part of the present article is concentrated. Phonocardiograms are presented as the intro-ductory illustration and the suggestion is madeon the selection of the method desirable. Short critique and prospects of the functional phonocardiography are also mentioned.
