  • Look Inside

Recent studies demonstrate that Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) eradication proves useful for histological gastritis, but the usefulness of H. pylori eradication for endoscopic remission remains controversial. We reported a case of antral nodularity which disappeared after H. pylori eradication. A 32-years-old woman visited our hospital with the complaint of epigastralgia. The endoscopic examination showed diffuse nodular appearance of the gastric antrum. The urease test, culture, and Giemsa stain for H. pylori showed positive. The patient underwent H. pylori eradication with informed consent. Disappearance of antral nodularity was obtained three months after the therapy with improvement of symptoms.
