大腸癌の診断に注腸X線検査は必要か―原則不要とする立場から：ズーム式拡大内視鏡の有用性

Is Barium Enema Necessary for the Diagnosis of the Colon Cancer?: From the Standpoint That Barium Enema Is Generally Unnecessary for the Diagnosis

要旨　大腸内視鏡検査の現状について前処置，挿入，存在診断，質的診断などのさまざまな観点から考察，検討した．大腸腫瘍の診断においてルーチン検査から精査までを内視鏡検査のみで行うことは十分に可能であると考えられた．微小な表面型早期癌の診断やpit pattern診断が重要になっている現在，注腸X線検査の併用は極めて限られた場合のみでよいと思われた．

　The present status of colonoscopic examination was evaluated from the various viewpoints of preparation, insertion procedure, existence diagnosis and qualitative diagnosis. Endoscopic examination alone was thought to be enough for the screening and detailed examinations of the colon tumor. Barium enema with colonoscopic examination may be useful in the extremely limited cases.
