内視鏡検査における感染予防対策

要旨　内視鏡介在感染症を防止するために，日本消化器内視鏡学会から内視鏡洗浄・消毒法ガイドラインが，また1998年9月にウィーンで開催された第10回世界消化器病会議でも“Minimal Standards for Disinfection of Endoscopic Instramentation”が発表され，内視鏡の消毒・滅菌法が再検討されている．内視鏡介在感染症を防止するために，これらのガイドラインを厳守し，消毒薬の特性を十分に理解した上で，内視鏡および処置具の洗浄，消毒を行うことが不可欠である．

　The inadequate disinfection of endoscopic instrumentation can result in endoscopy-transmitted infection. “A Guideline for Disinfection of Endoscopic Instrumentation”, by the Japanese Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society and “Minimal Standards for Disinfection of Endoscopic Instrumentation” were issued last year. Such endoscopy-related infection can be prevented by observing these guidelines. The disinfection of reusable accessories is as important as the disinfection of scopes, because few disposable endoscopic accessories are used at present in Japan.
