消化管粘膜下腫瘍の超音波内視鏡診断

Endoscopic Ultrasonography of Submucosal Tumor of the Alimentary Tract

要旨　今日，消化管粘膜下腫瘍の診断において超音波内視鏡検査はX線造影，通常内視鏡検査とともに主要な検査法の1つとなっている．粘膜下腫瘍はほとんどの病変が正常粘膜で覆われているが，診断，治療方針の決定には病変の発生部位，内部性状を知ることが重要となる．超音波内視鏡検査は病変の占居部位を同定し，内部性状を観察することにより質的診断を可能とするため粘膜下腫瘍の診断においてはとりわけ有用性が発揮される．今後も機器の進歩によりその重要性は増してくると思われる．また消化管粘膜下腫瘍の自験例も呈示した．

　Today, Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS), along with X-ray radiography and endosocpy, is one of the main diagnostic methods in submucosal tumors (SMT)in the alimentary tract. Since, in almost all SMT cases, the surface of the lesion is covered with normal mucosa, it is important for its diagnosis and manegement to identify an SMT incidence site and its internal characteristics. EUS is especially useful for identifying the site of SMTs and visualizating its internal characteristics, which may lead to a tissue characterization in SMTs. We think the usefulness of EUS will be enhanced as EUS technology equipment to further developed. In this paper, we made a general description of EUS in SMT of the alimentary tract by introducing our examinations of SMT cases.
