We are performing endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)employing the EEMR-tube method as the treatment of choice for early esophageal cancer. This maneuver can be completed easily in a very short time when the whole lesion is removed by one action. A large lesion is managed by the EEMR-tube 4 step method, requiring several actions to avoid leaving any unresected area. The first step is to remove the lesion containing the deepest focus from the oral side. The second step is to repeat this removal process on the residual area. The third step is to remove the subtle surrounding area by a double channel method using a side channel. The fourth step is to complete the removal by trimming and employing hot biopsies and APC.
