Development of a Self-Assessment Scale for Midwifery Practice Competence During Parturition Period

要旨

　目的：分娩期の助産実践能力自己評価尺度を開発する．

　方法：自由記述式調査と文献検討を基に，分娩期の助産実践能力自己評価尺度項目を作成し，内容妥当性を検討した尺度原案48項目からなる質問紙を作成した．78施設1,824名の助産師を対象に質問紙調査を実施し，尺度の信頼性と妥当性を検証した．

　結果：1,252名から回答が得られ，1,117名を分析対象とした．探索的因子分析により5因子35項目となり，確証的因子分析によるモデルの適合度は，GFI＝.988，AGFI＝.986，SRMR＝.048であった．併存的妥当性の助産師の専門的自律性測定尺度との相関係数は.72であった．尺度の信頼性では，尺度全体のCronbach's α係数は.95，再テスト法による級内相関係数は.83であった．

　結論：5因子35項目からなる分娩期の助産実践能力自己評価尺度を開発し，尺度の信頼性と妥当性が検証された．

　Objective: This study aimed to develop a scale for self-assessment of midwifery practice competence during the parturition period.

　Methods: Based on an open-ended survey and literature review, items for a self-assessment scale of midwifery practice competence during the parturition period were created, and a questionnaire consisting of 48 draft items which were examined for content validity was developed. A questionnaire survey was administered to 1,824 midwives at 78 facilities to verify the reliability and validity of the scale.

　Results: Responses were received from 1,252 midwives, of which 1,117 were subjected to the analysis. Five factors, including 35 items, were extracted using an exploratory factor analysis. The goodness-of-fit of the model based on confirmatory factor analysis was as follows: GFI = .988, AGFI = .986, and SRMR = .048. The correlation coefficient with the midwife professional autonomy scale, which indicated concurrent validity, was .72. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the overall scale was .95. The intraclass correlation coefficient of the test-retest method was .83.

　Conclusion: A self-assessment scale consisting of 35 items with five factors was developed for midwifery practice competence during the parturition period, and the reliability and validity of the scale were verified.
