　「よこはま・自閉症支援室」(横浜市発達障害者支援センター)は，成人期の発達障害を専門とする相談支援機関である．平成17年12月，来談者とその家族を対象とし，来談までの経過や現況についてアンケート方式による生活・就労実態調査を実施した(小川ら 2006，松尾 2006)．本稿では，相談概況や生活・就労実態調査の結果をもとに，成人期の来談者にみられる特徴について，①生育歴，②主訴と相談ニーズ，③就労上の課題と対応方法といった3つの側面から概観する．

　In December 2005, Nakamachidai Center on Developmental Disabilities (NCDD) conducted a mailed questionnaire survey to collect information on the employment of adults with pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs).　This article will introduce the research findings, examine the characteristics of individuals with PDDs in adulthood, and discuss how their needs may be addressed so that they may successfully gain and sustain employment.
