　緒言

　副鼻腔炎の徹底的根治手術である鼻外法の後にも治癒するに到らず或は再発し，術後性嚢腫，再発性前頭洞炎，治癒困難なりし前頭洞炎としての報告に遭遇することも少くない。私は昭和26年より32年迄の7年間に千葉大学耳鼻科において10例，12側を経験したのでその再手術所見を述べ御参考に供する次第である。

A review on the results of 10 cases (12sides) of frontal sinus operations that required reo-peration within the last 7 years at the Oto-laryngological Department of Chiba Univer-sity is presented. The outstanding features through out these cases appeared to be the fact that debredement among them was in-sufficient, particularly, the cells situated dee-ply supraocularly. Quite often these cells may be found to be highly developed, broad, deep in ateroposterior demensions and low towards the ocular fossa. In such cases it would be necessary to extend the length of the skin incision to expose such an area.
