I．はじめに

　脳有鈎嚢虫症は，本邦では非常に稀な疾患である．今回，われわれは第四脳室内嚢胞により再増悪を来たした脳有鈎嚢虫症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する．

Neurocysticercosis is a rare disease, and no association with intraventricular cysts has been reported inJapan. We report a case of neurocysticercosis that presented the unique symptom of a fourth ventricularcyst. A 55-year-old man with a 7 year history of neurocysticercosis and hydrocephalus developed a posi-tional headache and vomiting 3 months after an L-P shunt, and was admitted to our hospital. MRI showedmultiple intraparenchymal cysts, ventricular enlargement and an intraventricular cyst in the fourth ventri-cle. The cyst and the cysticercus in the fourth ventricle were totally removed via the suboccipital approach.
