I．はじめに

　シャント手術の合併症についてはすでに多くの報告が集積しているが，このうち手術直後の出血を除く亜急性ないしは遅発性脳内出血の報告は稀である．今回われわれは脳室腹腔（以下VPと略す）シャント術後に脳室カテーテルに沿った皮質下に遅発性脳内出血を生じた3例を経験し，その原因となった諸因子について検討を加えたので報告する．

Three cases of communicating hydrocephalus after subarachnoid hemorrhage are reported that underwent ventriculoperitoneal shunt and suffered from delayed intracerebral hemorrahge along the ventricular catheter. Ventricular catheres were inserted into the posterior horn with minimal brain damage by our method, in case 1 and 2, 3 times try of ventriculostomy, in case 3, replacement along the same route on the shunt revision. Blood pressure control after the operation was good and bleeding tendency was not observed. Vascular anomaly was not found in preoperative angiography in any case.
