サルにおける実験的振戦誘起部位の神経解剖学的研究—変性線維鍍銀法による

Experimental Tremor Induced by VMT Lesion in Monkeys:Neuroanatomical study

I．はじめに

　不随意運動^24）には，振戦，アテトーゼ，無踏病，ヘミバリスム，ミオクローヌスなどが知られている．それらのなかでも振戦を主症状とするパーキンソン病は，James Parkinson（1817）がshaking palsyと，Charcot（1892）がmaladie de Parkinsonと命名してからすでに1世紀以上経過しており，原因，機序もかなり理解されてはいるが，未解決の部分も多い，有病率^26）も14.0／10万（諸外国では100-180／10万）と不随意運動疾患のなかで大きな位置を占めるものである．

　サルの中脳被蓋腹内側部（VMT：ventromedial teg-mentum）の破壊によりパーキンソン病と類似する振戦を出現させうることが知られている^21,22）．

Ventromedial portion of the mesencephalic tegmen-tum in a monkey is known as one of the major targetto produce experimental tremor. By Ohye's method,we made lesions at the above mentioned target in 18monkeys. Out of them, 5 showed hemiparesis andcubital joint flexion on the contralateral side whichare known as precursors of experimental tremor ofthis kind.

In these 5 monkeys, we made neuroanatomicalstudies on various relating nuclei and neural pathwaysby Nissl and silver impregnation methods.
