I．はじめに

　脳神経外科医が頭部外傷患者を診察することは多いが，トルコ鞍に骨折を認める例に遭遇する機会は極めて稀であり，その報告例も少ない，最近われわれは，トルコ鞍骨折を伴い，脳神経麻痺，髄液鼻漏，尿崩症，さらに下垂体前葉機能低下などの多彩な病態を合併した1例を経験したので，トルコ鞍骨折の報告例22例とともに，主に骨折の機序や合併症について検討したので報告する．

The incidence of a fracture of the sella turcica is reportedto be rare and the authors reported a case of a sellar fractureassociated with several neurological and endocrinologicalcomplications.

A 16-year-old boy was struck at the face and the foreheadon the road in a motorcycle accident and was hospitalized ina confusional state. Neurological examinations showeddilatation of the both pupils, sluggish light reflex on bothsides and bilateral oculomotor palsy but motor weakness orsensory disturbance was not present.
