- 1ページ目 Look Inside
After removal of blood by perfusing the rats through the heart with pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solution (20ml), organic mercury solution (300mg of Methylmercury chloride per 30 ml of pH 7.4 phosphate buffer) were perfused, and fixation was carried out by perfusing the rats with 4% formaldehyde solution buffered with pH 7.4 phosphate buffer.
The results obtained were as follows : The granule cells of the cerebellum were selectively damaged, and organic mercury granules showing high electron density were found at the place seemed to be the Golgi system and the lysosomes in the cytoplasm of the damaged granule cells, occipital nerve cells and liver cells.
