　1968年Bartら^1）は主に手指の関節部に後天的に生じた指状を呈する小突起物についてacquired digital fibrokeratoma （以下ADFと略す）なる病名の下に記載，10例を報告した，以後同様症例がVerallo^2）により報告され，詳細な検討が加えられている，本邦でも長谷川ら^3）をはじめとして1〜2^4,5）の報告がなされている．著者らも最近本症の2例を経験したのでここに報告する．

Two cases of this disease were reported,-a tongue-like tumor on the left patellar region in a 64-year-old woman and a digital tumor on a left palm in a 47-year-old man.

Histologic pictures of two cases were the same and showed the hyperkeratosis, acanthosis, proliferation of fibroblasts, increased mucopolysaccharides inbetween the fibrous elements, and fragmented elastic fibers in some parts.

As an ethiology of this disease, the authors preferred chronic external injuries on the selected areas and reactions of dermal factors to the trauma theory.
