　緒言

　白血病は，その経過中に側頭骨に浸潤し，さまざまな耳症状をきたすことがある。しかし従来，そのほとんどが治療中や寛解期に認められるもので，耳症状を初発症状として発見される症例は稀であるといわれてきた。今回われわれは難治性耳漏，著明な外耳道腫脹を主訴に来院し，mixed lin-eage leukemiaの側頭骨浸潤であると診断された1歳10か月の男児の症例を経験したので，若干の考察を加えて報告する。

A 22-month-old boy developed acute mastoiditis resistant to antibiotics. Blood test indicated in-crease in white blood cells with many atypicalcells.

Emergency operation revealed soft granulation tissue without inflammatory findings in the mastoid and middle ear space. Pathological findings of granulation tissue in the middle ear and mastoid and surrounding subcutaneous tissues of the auricle demonstrated leukemic infiltrations. Final diagnosis was mixed lineage leukemia. It is suggested that the temporal bone is a common place of tumor-forming leukemia. This is a first report of mixed lineage leukemia with tumor formation in the ear.
