はじめに

　外耳道に発生する腫瘍は稀であり，外来で遭遇する頻度は総外来患者の0.05％程度といわれている^1）。そのなかでも耳垢腺腫は，外耳道の耳垢腺から発生する外耳道に特異的な良性腫瘍である。耳垢腺由来の腫瘍は良性・悪性を問わず，肉眼所見が類似しており，組織学的な多様性が高いことから，組織型や良性・悪性の鑑別を含めた正確な診断が困難であることが多いとされている^2）。

　今回われわれは，耳垢腺腫と診断された1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Ceruminous adenoma is an extremely rare benign tumor arising from ceruminous glands in the external auditory canal（EAC）. A 76-year-old woman presented to our department with a right earache and otorrhea. Physical examination revealed a neoplastic lesion in the anterior part of the right EAC. Fine-needle aspiration biopsy was performed；however, an insufficient number of specialized cells were present in the pathological samples to afford a diagnosis. The EAC lesion was surgically resected under local anesthesia. The pathological findings showed ceruminous adenoma with a pseudoinfiltrative pattern. Regular follow-up is needed owing to the possibility of local recurrence. There was no evidence of recurrence at the two-month follow-up.
