I．はじめに

　近年スギ花粉症患者は増加する傾向にあり，また日常診療においては季節時に症状がなくてもスギのRASTまたは皮内反応が陽性を示す患者が多くみられる。今回スギのRASTまたは皮内反応が陽性でも季節性の症状がない患者がどのくらい存在するか，またその年齢構成はどうか，また季節性の症状をもつ患者との比較から，何歳頃スギに感作されそれから発症までどのくらいかかるかなどを検討してみた。

　以下季節性の症状をもつものを顕性スギ花粉症RASTまたは皮内反応が陽性でも季節性の症状をもたぬものを潜在性スギ花粉症と呼ぶ。

We defined the subjects with positive RAST and skin test to Japanese cedar without seasonal symp-tom as "latent" pollinosis, and the patients with seasonal manifestation as "dominant". According to the number of patients and the distributions of ages between the latent and dominant groups, the ratio of latent to dominant group was 1 to 1. In the distribution of ages, peaks of the numbers in latent and in dominant group were found in ten and over twenty of ages respectively.
