　抄録：1997年1月から2002年12月の6年間において妊娠中および産褥期に腰痛・骨盤部痛を訴えて当科へ受診した症例は55例で，仙腸関節部痛が19例を占め，そのうち10例に対し骨盤部MRIを施行した．仙腸関節刺激テスト陽性の仙腸関節部痛例8例中6例に仙骨疲労骨折を疑った．

　妊娠，産褥期の仙腸関節部痛例は高率に仙腸関節周辺の異常，特に仙骨疲労骨折を認め，MRIはその診断に極めて有用である．

　A total of 55 women came to our clinic with back or pelvic ring pain during pregnancy or the postpartum period between January 1997 and December 2002, and 19 of them had sacroiliac joint pain. Ten patients were examined by MRI for pelvic ring pain in the puerperal period. Seven of eight MR images of patients with a positive sacroiliac joint provocation test revealed abnormal intensity around the sacroiliac joint, and a sacral stress fracture in six of them was suspected. MRI very frequenty resulted in detection of pathologic lesions, especially sacral stress fractures, in pregnant and postpartum women with sacroiliac joint pain.
