要旨　大腸粘膜下層浸潤癌（SM癌）をPG（polypoid growth），NPG（non polypoid growth）分類を用いて分類し，早期大腸癌の発育様式について解析した．また，本分類の適用法についても概説した．

　Large intestinal submucosal infiltrating cancers were classified according to PG（polypoid growth）or NPG（non polypoid growth）to analyze the manner of growth of early large intestinal cancers. The application of this classification is also summarized.
