A 61-year-old female was pointed out an asymptomatic pigmented lesion by a dentist. After 4 days, she visited our hospital for the evaluation of the lesion. Physical examination revealed a 3×2 mm blue-grey macule on the palate. With the main differential diagnosis of malignant melanoma, the lesion was completely excised. Histological examination showed numerous granular and irregular dark brown deposits being distributed among collagen fibers, which extends through the entire dermis to subcutaneous fat. An X-ray microanalysis revealed that the depositions consisted mainly of titanium.
