多発肺転移による低酸素血症患者にクアドラライト麻酔用マスクを用いてpressure support ventilationで管理した経験

A Case of Hypoxemia due to Multiple Lung Metastases Managed by Pressure Support Ventilation Using QuadraLite Anesthetic Mask

要旨

　クアドラライト麻酔用マスクは，クッション部分に熱可塑性エラストマーを用いた高い密着性をもつマスクである。今回，多発肺転移による低酸素血症を有する病的上腕骨骨折患者に鎮静下神経ブロックで，観血的骨接合術を行った症例でこのマスクを使用した。自発呼吸に同調した有効な補助換気を行うことができた。

　The QuadraLite anesthetic mask effectively covers the entire face using a flexible thermoplastic elastomer instead of an inflatable cushion. This mask was used for a patient with a humeral fracture and hypoxemia due to multiple lung metastases. He underwent open osteosynthesis with a sedative nerve block. We were able to effectively provide ventilation synchronized with spontaneous breathing.
