Autologous Fat Injection for Velopharyngeal Insufficiency

はじめに

　鼻咽腔粘膜下への自家脂肪注入術は，比較的軽症の鼻咽腔閉鎖機能不全例に対して，低侵襲で負担の少ない治療として有用である。本稿では当科での経験をもとに，方法，適応，評価法を中心に本治療法を紹介する。

　Compared to conventional velopharyngeal procedures for velopharyngeal insufficiency such as pharyngeal flap techniques, autologous fat injection to the nasopharynx is less invasive and has shown a relatively low rate of complications. Autologous fat injection is indicated for relatively mild cases of velopharyngeal insufficiency. This article describes the autologous fat injection technique, with particular focus on the method, indication, and evaluation methods based on our experience.
