Techniques of Permanent Makeup in Nipple-Areola Complex Reconstruction: From Equipment and Needle Selection to Procedures

はじめに

　乳頭・乳輪へのアートメイクは乳房再建の最後の仕上げである。これは再建乳房アートメイクとも呼ばれ，1970年代よりその有用性が数多く報告されている 1）～3）。本施術は日本では医行為とされながらも，使用する物品に医療機器，医薬品と認可されたものはまだない。当然保険診療外となる。そのため整容性だけでなく，安全性に十分留意した治療を心がけなければならない。

　本稿では著者の経験と私見を交えて，再建乳房アートメイクに用いる機器や針の選択から手技について説明する。

　Permanent makeup for the nipple-areola complex represents the final stage of breast reconstruction. The efficacy of this procedure has been extensively documented since the 1970s. Despite being classified as a medical procedure in Japan, there are currently no approved medical devices or pharmaceuticals for the materials used in this practice, and it is not covered by insurance. It is thus imperative to prioritize both aesthetic outcomes and patient safety.

　In this article, we will discuss the various types of equipment needed and their settings, the different types and characteristics of the needles used, their selection, and the techniques used in permanent makeup for the nipple-areola complex, drawing upon my personal experiences and insights.
