小児胸部の画像診断は，成人とは大きく異なる特徴を有するがゆえに苦手意識をもってしまう分野の1つである。解剖学的・生理学的な発達段階による特徴に加え，小児特有の疾患パターン，画像所見の解釈における注意点など，多角的な理解が求められる。本稿では，小児胸部画像診断における基本的な解剖学的知識から疾患の特徴，検査のポイントなど，包括的に紹介する。

Pediatric chest imaging is widely recognized as a challenging field for radiologists because of its fundamental differences from adult imaging. For comprehensive understanding, integrated knowledge of developmental, anatomical and physiological characteristics is required as well as child-specific disease patterns, which leads to correct interpretation. This article provides a systematic overview of pediatric chest imaging, encompassing basic anatomical and disease characteristics, and examination techniques for dairy practice.
