QST量子医科学研究所の分子イメージング診断治療研究部　核医学診断・治療研究グループでは，重粒子線治療を行うQST病院の画像診断・核医学検査を担当するとともに，新規PETイメージングの開発・臨床研究そしてアルファ線やベータ線核種などを用いた標識アイソトープ治療開発研究を行っている。これら高度で最先端の診療・研究を実施するには最先端の医用画像装置は重要であることから，2021年4月にGE社製半導体PET/CT装置；Discovery MI-25（5 ring）を導入した。本稿では本装置の特徴を述べるとともに半導体PET/CTの最新の技術について紹介する。

Discovery MI-25 was introduced. The Q.Clear image reconstruction technology of this PET/CT system is expected to provide high diagnostic performance. In addition, the respiratory synchronization system using Advanced MotionFree technology has enabled efficient clinical diagnosis. In particular, it is promising to detect small lesions, which will contribute to the research detecting early-stage of cancer. It is also expected to be used to develop the novel PET radiopharmaceuticals with the 25cm wide-range imaging area and whole-body dynamic PET imaging. Moreover, using TrueFidelity CT image reconstruction technology to reduce radiation exposure will contribute to a more patient-friendly examination.
