要旨：わが国の作業療法において，脳血管障害者の心理社会面に対し行われている支援内容を明らかにする目的で文献的研究を行った．過去10年分の論文と日本作業療法学会演題から，作業療法士の行った支援内容が記述された箇所をラベルとして抽出し，KJ法によりグループ編成を行った．①障害とともに生きていくための支援を行う，②作業を介した治療的関わりを行う，③クライエントー作業療法士の協業的関係を築く，④クライエント・家族の生活環境づくりを行う，の4つの大カテゴリーが見出された．①が本支援内容のコアカテゴリーであると考察した．脳血管障害者の心理社会面に対し，本研究の内容を組み込んだ作業療法を計画し実践する必要がある．

　The purpose of this study was to investigate the kinds of psychosocial support occupational therapists provide for stroke clients. We examined Japanese journals of occupational therapy from 1995 to 2004 and formed categories by using the KJ method. As a result, we discovered four typical categories: (1) supporting living with disabilities, (2) using therapeutic activities effectively, (3) establishing client-therapist collaborative relationships, and (4) providing comfortable environments for clients and families. Category (1) is regarded as the core category. In conclusion, it is necessary for occupational therapists to understand the psychosocial supports necessary for stroke clients.
