要旨：回復期病棟から自宅に退院した脳血管障害患者の妻に対し，本人と共に生活を再構築していく上での思いを明らかにするために，退院直後から半年の間，計3回のインタビューを行った．質的な研究手法により分析を行った結果，「本人との生活の中で模索し発展させた役割」，「本人の生活と自分の生活との折り合い」，「感じている負担」という3つの介護経験の要素が見出された．時間を経ることで，担っている役割，本人との生活で生じた問題に対する対処スタイル，主観的負担感のそれぞれにおいて質的な変化が見られた．これらの視点は，脳血管障害患者との生活における家族の適応状況を捉える指標として，有効に用いられるのではないかと考えた．

　The purpose of this study was to clarify the life reconstruction of a family with a stroke patient. The spouse of a stroke patient was interviewed, and the data were analyzed qualitatively. Three domains emerged: "developing roles in daily life", "negotiation with her spouse for their daily life" and "subjective burden." There were some qualitative changes over time. I think these are useful to develop the evaluation of adaptation of the families with stroke patients.
