The purpose of this study is to discuss the therapeutic use of "coloring activity" as art psychotherapy especially for the chronic patients who are controlled by delusion and hallucination. The authors provided 2 cases with coloring activity. They always decided their colors they used according to auditory hallucinations, but they sometimes came to decide on it according to their will by our approach. We found that coloring activity was effective in acquiring contact with reality for the patients who were overwhelmed by pathologic experience.
