運筆速度と筆圧の変化に着目した運筆遂行能力の評価

The assessment of handwriting performance based on changes in pen velocity and pen pressure

要旨：筆者らが開発した運筆中の軌跡および筆圧を記録可能な評価機器を用い，健常成人20名，健常7歳児33名を対象に，線引き課題遂行中の運筆速度と筆圧変化の特徴を検討した．その結果，成人群では，一筆中における筆記具の速度変化には描き始めより徐々に速度が上がり，中間から描き終わりに向け減速する規則性が見られた．筆圧は描き始めに急上昇した後，引き続き筆圧が上昇し，描き終わり直前で急下降する規則性が見られた．7歳児群では，健常成人に見られた運筆速度，筆圧変化の規則性を示す者もいたがその割合は少なかった．以上から，本評価機器で測定した運筆速度や筆圧変化は運筆中の運動制御の状態を示す1つの指標となると考えられた．

　The study aims to show the characteristics of a new handwriting assessment developed by the authors which records changes in pen velocity and pen pressure during handwriting tasks. The subjects were 20 healthy adults and 33 healthy children of 7 years old.

　In the adult group, while drawing a line along one side of the triangle, the pen velocity increased from the beginning and decreased from about the middle of the line. Regarding the change in pen pressure during the handwriting tasks, it increased suddenly from the beginning, continued increasing slowly and finally decreased suddenly just before completion of the task. On the other hand, as for the change in pen velocity and pen pressure during the handwriting tasks obtained from the children's group, there were few children who showed a pattern similar to the adults.

　These results suggest that the changes in pen velocity and pen pressure during handwriting tasks are an index to show the state of motor control.
