The Effect of Thoulet's Reagent on Actomyosin-System: (Ⅳ) The Effect of Thoulet's Reagent on Various Proteins of Actomyosin-System

　前報^1）でglycerol筋を著明に短縮させるThoulet's reagent（以下T．Rと略す）によつて，Actomyosin（以下AMと略す）溶液も沈澱することを報告した。

　本報ではAMを構成する諸種の蛋白質に対するT．Rの作用を検し，以下述べる如き成績を得た。

　1) In the presence of Thoulet's reagent at 5.10^-2M, crystalline myosin was precipitated with plug-formation, contrary to the presence of ATP at 10^-3M where the myosin showed the tend-ency of dissolution.

　2) L-meromyosin also underwent precipitation with plug-formation in the presence of Thoulet's reagent at 5.10^-2M, while ATP at 10^-3M exerted no influence on the physical properties of L-meromyosin solution.

　3) H-meromyosin showed no physical change in the presence of Thoulet's reagent at 5.10^-2M or ATP solution at 10^-3M.
