 The authors studied the effects of acute, subacute and chronic exposures to high ambient temperature on the microcirculation by means of the modified rabbit ear chamber (REC) technique, which is combined with microscopic direct observation, photo- and cinephoto-micrography and unique micropho-toelectric plethysmography (-m ; MPPG) of CdS photoconductive cells. The results are summarized as follows.
