視算法による血小板数の推定値に及ぼすヘマトクリット値の影響

The effect of Hematocrit on Visual Platelet Estimation

　緒言—かなりの検査室で，位相差顕微鏡によりあるいは自動血球計算機によって求めた血小板の絶対数算定をチェックするために，血液塗抹標本の血小板を顕微鏡下で推定する方法が行われる．間接的血小板数算定法として，血液塗抹標本から血小板数を推定しようという傾向がみられるようになってきている．（しかし），血液塗抹標本上の血小板の分布（広がり）に及ぼす血液ヘマトクリット値の影響に関しては，まだ明らかにされていない．そこで，この実験で塗抹標本からの推定血小板数と血小板算定数とヘマトクリット値の違いとの相関を調べた．そして，更に血液塗抹標本における血小板の分布に及ぼすヘマトクリット値の影響についても検討した．

INTRODUCTION-Many hematology laboratories use microscopic platelet estimation on a blood smear for checking the absolute platelet count using phase microscopy and automatic particle counters. A trend of using platelet estimation on the blood smear as an indirect platelet counting has developed. Since^*1 the influence of various hematocrit values on the distribution of platelets in the blood smear remains uncertain, this study investigated the correlation of the platelet smear estimate^*2 and platelet count with different hematocrit values. The influence of the hematocrit on distribution of the platelets in the blood smear was also evaluated.^*3
