Measles-rubella laboratory network

実験室診断による麻疹症例の全数把握と疫学情報をリンクさせたサーベイランスシステムの構築と運用，さらに得られた情報を基にした対策が麻疹排除には重要である．現在，世界規模での麻疹排除計画に向けて，各国の研究施設が実験手技，情報などを共有し連携する麻疹風疹実験室ネットワークがWHOを中心として組織されている．本邦に求められている麻疹風疹実験室ネットワークの役割のため，国立感染症研究所(感染研)は，地方衛生研究所，保健所，医療機関と協力し合い，網羅的なサーベイランスシステムの構築を進めている．

Laboratory confirmation of each suspected measles case is critical for epidemiological surveillance of measles, and provides important information to achieve measles elimination.　WHO established a worldwide measles and rubella laboratory network (LabNet) to provide standardized testing procedures and external quality assurance programs.　Prefectural laboratories, public health centers, and National Institute of Infectious Diseases, Japan, cooperate for the establishment of a case-based surveillance system with laboratory confirmation in our country.
