成人の慢性炎症性声門下狭窄症2症例

INFLAMMATORY LARYNGEAL STENOSIS IN ADULTS, A REPORT OF TWO CASES

　I．緒言

　慢性呼吸困難・嗄声・喘鳴などの上気道症状を来たす疾患としては，一般に腫瘍・特異性炎症が考えられるが，今回われわれは，慢性に経過した声門下腔・気管に狭窄を認めた成人患者に遭遇し，種々の検査に異常を認めず病理学的に非特異性慢性炎症像を呈した2症例を経験し，種々の治療に抵抗したが，局所に持続性合成副腎皮質ホルモンを注入し良好な結果を得たので報告する。

　Manifestation of such symptoms as, dyspnea, hoarseness and asthmatic breathing in a patient usually points to either carcinoma or acute inflammatory disorder in the upper respiratory tract. But in the present case the patient suffering similar symptoms was found to be affected with simple sublaryngeal tracheal stenosis. The patient resisted all forms of treatments but finally responded to the adrenal hormone treatment.
