稀有な頬部奇形の1症例

CONGENITAL FACIAL MALFORMATION

　I．はじめに

　生下時より，頬部に大小2個の突起物を有する乳児に遭遇し，これを手術的に摘出した症例を経験した。発生部位および突起物の組織学的所見からみて稀な症例と思われるので，症例の報告，病理組織的な検索とともに文献的考察を加えてみたい。

　An infant, aged 2 months, is found to be. affected witn a large protrusion of tissue lump. the size of adult thumb on the right cheek. This lump is found to be covered externally by ordinary skin and with bony tissues, dermal glands, fatty tissues, and a few striated muscles and nerve fibers as internal structures.

　Pathologically the case was diagnosed as a epignathus attached to the maxillary-bone.
