頬部粘膜に発生した異物肉芽腫の1例

FOREIGN BODY GRANULATION FORMED IN THE BUCAL MUCOUS MEMBRANE

　I．はじめに

　異物の身体誤入によつて生ずる異物肉芽腫については，主として皮膚科領域において注目をあつめ，報告例も多くみられる。われわれは最近，幼児の頬部粘膜に発生した興味ある異物肉芽腫の1例を経験したので，ここに報告した。

　A case of foreign body granuloma in an infant is reported. The patient is a female infant, aged 2 years and 9 months, in whom a swelling in the mucous membrane of the left cheek, colored cobalt blue and the size of a thumbhead, was found by its mother about a month previously. There was nother allied swelling in the neck. The tumor was removed under general anesthesia with uneventful recovery. Nine months after the surgical procedure no recurrence is seen.
