Five cases of diplopia due to traumatic origin are reported.

Case Ⅰ. Diplopia resulted from a brow out fracture on the eye. A complete recovery was seen after a surgical treatment.

Case Ⅱ. Diplopia resulted from a traumatic fracture of the orbital rim. An operative correction was attempted but a complete recovery was not seen.

Case Ⅲ. Diplopia resulted from a brow out fracture on the eye but a spontaneous recovery occurred after one week of observation.

Case Ⅳ. Diplopia resulted from a combined traumatic fracture of the parietal and mandibular bones as well as the bones forming the orbital rim. No improvement of the affection was seen after surgical attempt at correction.

Case Ⅴ. Diplopia resulted as an aftermath of a radical sinus operation that covered the maxillary and ethmoidal sinuses. An attempt was made for a surgical correction but a complete recovery was not seen.
