右側頭骨より発生した巨細胞腫（giant cell tumor）の1例

A GIANT CELL TUMOR ORIGINATING FROM TEMPORAL BONE

　Ⅰ．緒言

　骨破壊性の腫瘍としては骨芽細胞に由来する骨肉腫，巨細胞腫，骨髄細胞性の骨髄腫などがある。われわれは最近，はじめ真珠腫性中耳炎の再発を疑われ，手術の結果右側頭骨の広範な骨欠損をきたし，いわゆる巨細胞腫を疑われたが，さらに詳細な組織学的検査の結果giant cell reparative granulomaと診断された症例を経験したのでここに報告する。

　With a tenative clinical diagnosis of cholesteatomatous otitis media a man, aged 25, was operated. The operation revealed replacement of bony tissue covering the region of anterior wall of the external aural canal towards the articular tubercle with smooth-surfaced granulation-like tissues. The diagnosis of benign giant cell reparative granuloma was made by microscopic examination of the tissue removed surgically.
