髄液の持続的排泄を目的として行つた第5腰椎骨形成的偏側椎弓切除術

　I．緒言

　耳性髄膜炎治療の一つである髄液の持続的排泄法について，先年教室の古川が報告しているが，更にその方法を改良して，所謂骨形成的椎弓切除術を行つて好結果を得た一例を報告する。

For treatment of cerebral complication of ear disease which caused an abnormal in-crease of cerebral fluid and pressure, the vertebral arch of the 5 th lumbar vertebra was resected in order to facilitate a conti-nual drainage of the spinal fluid. The pre-sent method employed differed from that used heretofore, particularly in following two points :

(1) Vinyl tube was inserted for drainage following the resection.

(2) The removed portion of the arch was replaced in its original site at the end of the operation.
