唾液腺疾患症例

A．ミクリッツ氏病のCo₆₀照射療法

　I．はしがき

　1892年Mikulicz氏は，46歳の男子に於て両側唾液腺および涙腺の慢性無痛性腫脹を有する未だ嘗て報告されたことのない疾患を報じ，原因は恐らく細菌感染であろうと述べているが，之がMikulicz氏病或は症候群として学会の注目を浴びた。

　其後之と思われる疾患で，発熱を伴うもの，軽度貧血を伴うもの，結核，梅毒，白血病，淋巴肉芽腫，月経周期に随伴する例が報告されているが，比較的稀有の疾患とされている。治療法としてはレ線照射が有効と報告されているが，私は最近かかる症例に遭遇しCo⁶⁰遠隔大量照射により比較的簡単に奏効したので報告したいと思う。

　Iwata reports his experience in curing casse of Mikulicz' disease by remote irradiation of large of Co⁶⁰ in repeated administration or by a single irradiation of 300γ at one time.

　In treatment of Küttner's disease the Co appeared to be equally effective but the author treated a case of this disease who showed a repeated recurrence successfully by exterpation of submaxillary salivary gland ; the patient was a woman aged 44.
