I.緒言
戦後電源開設の為ダム建設は各地に進められ,その成果も大なるものがある。しかしその蔭には幾多の犠牲も余儀なくされている。私は昭和28年8月以来天龍川水系に着工された佐久間ダム,又その調整ダムたる秋葉ダムの一連の工事に於ける受傷者で現場から近距離にある当院外来に送られ主として労働者災害保険補償に対する等級判定を依頼された50例,100耳に就きその症状を観察する機会を得たのでその概略を述べる。
Kato presents an analysis of hearing inju-ries that were caused by exposure to exce-ssive noises among individuals employed in the construction of dams. In the constru-ction of the two dams Sakuma and Akiba 50 persons 92 ears were found to be affected with loss of hearing which were studied under audiometry : the causative factors bei-ng the noises from dynamite explosions, and the effects of pressure or rarefaction of exp-losions, works in casson, rock crushing and jumping sparks from electric soddering Fifty two ears were found to totally loss to all hearing, 36 to high tones only, 4 to low and middle tones : 8 ears were found to be normal.
