乳児の歯齦に発生した真珠腫

　緒言

　耳鼻咽喉科領域で真珠腫の発生を見るのは，主として側頭骨，ついで前頭骨，上顎骨等であるが，その大部分は慢性炎症，外傷等に続発する仮性真性のものは，比較的に稀である。口腔の真珠腫としては加藤（昭14）の口唇に於ける1例を見るにすぎないが，この例も先行する外傷の瘢痕から発生したもので，仮性真珠腫である。

　私は最近乳児の歯齦に発生した小腫瘍多数を摘出し，病理組織検査の結果それ等が真珠腫なることを確め，種々なる観点から恐らくは真性のものと考えたので，ここにその大略を報告する。

Yasumitsu and associates report a case of pearl cyst found in a female infant aged 2 months postpartem. Minute ulcers were found on the gingival mucous membrane in large numbers. One of these ulcer was removed for microscopic examination which established the diagnosis of the lesion being pearl cyst. The patient made a complete recovery after surgical excision of these cysts without any disturbances in the underlying unerupted teeth.
