Ⅰ．緒言

　慢性硬膜下血腫のCT所見は最近注日を集めており報告も多い^1,4,5,6,8）．またCTよりその成因にせまる報告もみられるようになってきた^9）．

　著者らは，1977年1月から1979年9月までの間に，頭部外傷後のCTスキャン1,824例を経験しているが，そのうち16歳以上の成人例で，CTスキャン上，前頭部脳表に，いわゆるfluid collectionを思わせる低吸収域のみられる症例が40例あった．更に，これらの症例のfollow-up中に，低吸収域が，出血によると思われる高吸収域へとdensityを変え，慢性硬膜下血腫に移行した例を2例経験した．この症例にみられるように，外傷後の脳表のfluid collection中への出血も慢性硬膜下血腫の成因の1つと考えられるので，若干の文献的考察とあわせて報告する．

Recently much attention has been paid once again to etiology of chronic subdural hematoma since the appearanee of computed tomography (CT).

Authors examined 1824 head injury cases by CT from January 1977 to September 1979. Among them, there are 40 cases (they were all over 16 years old) whose CT showed frontal extracerebral low density area. The low density area which is considered to be socalled fluid collection could be classified into four types (type I to IV).
