  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Intracranial venous abnormalities involving only the veins are rarely encountered. According to previous literature, there has been a few scattered reports dealt with venous aneurysm, occlusion of veins and dural sinus, angiectasia of leptomeninges, sinus pericranii and persistent primitive venous system.

Poser and Taveras regarded cases with analogous cerebral venous anomalies and facial naevi in the Sturge-Weber syndrome.
