Experimental Neurofibrillary Change Induced by Aluminum Lactate

Ⅰ．緒言

　神経原線維変化（以下NFCと略記する）は神経細胞の特異な変化の一つであり，1906年Alzheimer^1）によつて特有な痴呆状態を呈した患者の脳に見出され，初老期痴呆の脳病理を特徴づける細胞変化として記載されたものである。その後種々の疾患および一般老人脳にも見出されており，その成因の解明は神経病理学の重要な問題の一つになつている。この病変の物質構成，発生機序については，Alzheimer以来種々の説が述べられてきたが，現在まで確実なことは分かつていない。他方この変化を実験的に作り出し，その病因を解明しようとする試みがなされ，Rasdolsky（1926年）^23），Stern（1954年）^27），Hornet（1961年）^13）らが実験動物の大脳神経細胞にいろいろの嗜銀性線維をみたと記載した。しかし，これらの報告にみるNFCと人脳のそれとの間には，明確な類似点が認められるに至らなかつた。

Thirty two rabbits received intracranially 0.05 cc of alminum lactate in satulated solution. At-different intervals after administration, the anim-als were sacrificed for neuropathologic examinations. Electron microscopic observation was performed on three rabbits. The results were as follows.

1) Neurofibrillary change (NFC) was found in 27 of 32 rabbits. The minimum change developed at third day after administration and the most prominent change was observed at 7th to 14th day.
