Abstract

The biological significance of right-left differ-entiation in living organisms was first noted by French scientists in the midst of the last century. Pasteur, from the viewpoint of molecular chem-istry, discovered that the optical isomers of citrate crystals can be differentiated only by living organisms, bacteria and Pasteur himself. On the other hand, Dax and Broca found only the left cerebral hemisphere can speak.
