  • Look Inside

Normal mean values in Japanease children about 3 different indices on X-ray craniometry were determined for 283 patients ranging from newborn to 15 years of age.

Two indices; cranial index (Cronqvist) and summation index (Austin) were compaired in the sensitivity to find out abnormal cranial size.

The range of cranial index was constant; 51-62, until the age of 18 months, and thereafter mean value decreased gradually.
