マカクサルの前頭葉の構造

Anatomy of the frontal lobe of the macaque monkey.

　ニホンサル（Macaca fuscata），アカゲサル（Macaca mulatta）はマカク属（macaques）のサルである。本稿は主として，この2種のサルの前頭葉の構造を述べる。

　This article states sulcal pattern, functional subdivision, development, ipsilateral cortical inputs to the motor, premotor, and prefrontal cortices, radial columns, and hierarchial organization, of the frontal lobe of the brain of Japanese monkeys (Macaca fuscata). Our data shows that hierarchy of frontal cortical areas is as follows : area 24 area 46-area 8 area 6 area 4
